Train to Win Basketball was
started from a vision of using basketball as a tool of opportunity giving the
youth something positive to look forward to on a daily basis. Derrick Brooks, the
founder of Train to Win, possesses an unmatched passion for seeing kids excel in
the classroom, on the basketball court, and in life. Train to Win has been
blessed with a local gym in Baltimore, Maryland where the kids can take advantage
of working hard and learning more about what basketball has to offer. At the
moment Train to Win has a 2nd grade AAU (Amateur Athletic Union) program that
competes in local and national competition throughout the year. Most of the
tournaments are very costly and with this being our first year on the circuit
any form of help would be greatly appreciated. All proceeds will go towards gym
rental fees, travel expenses, tournament fees, uniforms, and team shoes. Train
to Win also has a 5-7 year old in house Pee Wee League for kids who are just
learning basketball along with 8-10 year old player development training. We
have a group of amazing kids that the program is doing wonders for everyday.

DeleteThat is crazy. Definitely not the first time I'm hearing of this. I know a few people from Baltimore that tried this program and they all said the same thing. Dude be stealing money from parents & they kids claiming he can get shoes for half price and never come through AT ALL. They holla yo will be bring a whole total different shoe then what you originally asked for. Playing games with people money is not cool at all and yo work at the outlet in the mall whole time. So what is he really doing with the money? NIKE YALL NEED TO DO BETTER
